Our Story
Our journey begins before digital time, born from an era of old tapes collecting dust in a treasure chest. Boxed with a sleeve of glorious artwork and represented with hazy images, unwound and patient, these incredible characters and profound worlds all founded by the spirit of a dreamer with limitless vision.
Vistara Pictures is a production company founded on the principle that no dream is too big to capture. Aiming beyond the stars to produce and collaborate moving ideas, stories and entertainment.

Our video production services cover a wide range of special interests diving into areas of both technical and conceptual. However, at the heart of every project, at the very core of any idea presents our primary motivation, story. Before the camera’s even roll, we are fully invested in the “Why?” Vistara ensures with each project that while it’s important to be bold and shine, it’s imperative your story is told in a real and authentic way. We strive to engage and foster the development of telling stories utilizing cinematic tools to elevate theatrics offering industry standards every step of the way.
Hi, Im Justin W Phillips
It began in the early 1990's, as a family we often spent the most time together sitting around the TV watching movies. I distinctly remember the old science fiction films my dad would watch nearly on repeat and while the world to me still felt young I was obsessed with feeling cinema gave me.

After high school I went on to write many of my first projects and then assembling a small production group with many passionate friends. We wrote, shot and edited everything. Project after story and in Fall of 2016 we hit gold. We nearly dominated a local film challenge with our own take on Mary Shelley's, Frankenstein titled, Frankenstein Therapy which won many awards including Best Director and Best Film. Beyond competitions and passion projects I began seeking out serious works under a freelance basis. I found incredible collaborators and growth developing my skills behind the camera.

Today, my passion eagerly carries me into the future as I seek out to create works of extraordinary visuals that provide meaning and sustain a valuable effort to help share stories that are larger than life.
